Fourth Suspect Identified in Mesa Stabbing Case
One Victim Remains in the Hospital with Serious Injuries
The fourth suspect arrested for the April 13 stabbing incident on the Mesa has been publicly identified. Devin Kelley, 24, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon and violating parole. Police had previously withheld his name and charges during the initial stages of their investigation.
The other three suspects are: Sean Crane, 23, charged with attempted murder; Eddie Mesa, 23, charged with accessory to attempted murder; and Michael Hardy, 22, charged with assault with a deadly weapon and violating parole. All four men are in custody. Their mug shots are not being released, police said.
The stabbing took place during a house party at 1037 Del Mar Avenue. Two victims were wounded, one seriously. He remains at Cottage Hospital. “Citing concern for their safety, the family of the hospitalized victim has requested that his name not be released,” said a police spokesperson. “Likewise, the second victim has also requested that his name not be released.”
