SBRPA joins these California-based NAA affiliates: Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles; Apartment Association of Orange County; Apartment Association, California Southern Cities; East Bay Rental Housing Association; NorCal Rental Property Association; and San Diego County Apartment Association.

SBRPA’s affiliation grows NAA’s California-based membership to 17,524 members, owning or managing more than 377,512 apartment units. NAA now has more than 58,000 members, representing over 6.5 million apartment units.

“This partnership will provide additional support to SBRPA’s California-based efforts and give its members access to NAA’s national resources, which enhance the value of membership to an independent rental owner, property management professional or large multifamily owner,” said Doug Culkin, NAA President & CEO.

The SBRPA joins NAA’s federation of state and local affiliates who already look to NAA’s educational, training, event and advocacy offerings as critical professional development and networking resources.

“We are thrilled to join the NAA family in California and across the country,” said SBRPA President Chris Agnoli. “Over the next year, SBRPA will begin to roll-out all the enhanced services and programs to our over 950 members, including NAA’s online courses and attending the largest apartment industry event, the NAA Education Conference & Exposition, which next year is June 20-22 in San Diego.”

The NAA Education Institute (NAAEI) recently unveiled more than 50 online courses and seminars available 24/7/365 through a new customized learning management system (LMS), which significantly reduces the cost of educating employees and increases accessibility for members who cannot attend in-person training. NAAEI provides broad-based training and career development programs for current and future industry professionals and NAAEI’s designations are nationally recognized mark of excellence in the industry.

The 2013 NAA Education Conference Camp; Exposition will be at the San Diego Convention Center on June 20-22, 2013. More than 6,000 multifamily housing professionals and independent rental owners are expected for three days of the best professional development training in the industry.
