Banana is a very sweet, smart, and talented little spayed female terrier mix. She weighs about nine pounds and is about 2years old. Banana enjoys going for walks, playtime, learning new tricks, as well as relaxation and cuddle time She loves to learn by following positive-reinforced instructions. She just learned how to dance and turn around on her hind legs, and is happy and eager to learn a lot more. She is potty trained and gets along well with other dogs, so we know she could live compatibly with other dogs. When Banana was abandoned, she had a painful eye condition commonly called cherry-eye in both eyes, which is a prolapsed inner eyelid that required surgery, and she needed dental work. K-9 PALS paid for her eye surgeries, dental cleaning, and extractions so she could be healthy and ready for adoption. Banana will make a wonderful, faithful and playful companion for a single person or a family with older kids, with or without other dogs in the home.

Banana

Banana is currently in a foster home while she is waiting for her forever adoptive home. To learn more about Banana contact k9amabassador@gmail.com, or go to www.K-9PALS.org to see more photos and information about Banana and many other dogs for adoption in the Santa Barbara area.

K-9 PALS has monthly community outreach events at the Pet House on Calle Real, Petco 5 Points, and other places around the area on weekends, and that would be a great time to meet Banana if she is not adopted before then, as well as to see other great dogs for adoption from local shelters and rescue groups.

K-9 PALS provides four free dog-behavior training sessions for dogs adopted from any of our area shelters, so contact K-9 PALS if you want to take advantage of this great offer when you adopt a dog from any local shelter.

If you aren’t looking to adopt right now, you can help by donating to K-9 PALS so they can provide for the much-needed veterinary care, medications, food, training, and much more for homeless and abandoned dogs like Banana.
