Detectives Make Heroin Bust
Probationer Arrested and Charged with Dealing Heroin
Two Santa Barbara men were arrested last Wednesday on drug charges after they were stopped while walking down Carrillo Street by detectives with the Sheriff’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit. The detectives recognized 29-year-old Donald Windsor and, based on the terms of his probation, searched him. They found 57 individual baggies containing heroin — about half an ounce worth $1,500 — and drug paraphernalia. With Windsor was 25-year-old Cassidy Morse. He had an active warrant out for his arrest and was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Both men were arrested and booked in County Jail. Windsor’s bail is set at $35,000, and Morse’s bail is set at $2,500, but because of his warrant, he isn’t eligible for bail.
