Santa Barbara Bowl Hosts First Stop on Michael Franti's Yoga-Music Fest
The worlds of music and yoga collided at the Santa Barbara Bowl on Thursday, June 19, when Michael Franti’s Soulshine festival rolled through town. The Bowl’s general admission zone was consumed with yogis from 3 to 5 p.m., as Franti played acoustic music from the stage, and then got filled with hippies and neo-hippies alike as the musical acts unfurled throughout the evening, including Brett Dennen, SOJA, and Franti’s band Spearhead.
