Has anyone noticed the amount of money being spent on TV, radio, and print ads to defeat Measure P? Who has that kind of money? The oil industry, of course. Take a few minutes, and read the text of Measure P in your Voter’s Guide. You will discover that the message in all those ads is pure propaganda and a distortion of the truth. Buying “local” oil is one of the lies. Oil is a fungible commodity sold on the open market. Water, on the other hand, is “local” and a requisite for life itself. Think about it, and vote “yes” on Measure P.
