An antiabortion protester unsuccessfully sought to enter the Planned Parenthood Sex, Politics & Cocktails fundraiser and social event held at the Biltmore Friday evening by impersonating a nonexistent daughter of Santa Barbara Mayor Helene Schneider. A group of about 10 protesters stood vigil outside, waving large fetus photos from the street. A woman who sought entry to the event was asked to identify herself at the welcoming table. She pointed to the name tag for Mayor Schneider and identified herself as the mayor’s daughter Margaret. Schneider, a former administrator with Planned Parenthood, has no children. When this was pointed out, the mayor said, the woman became flustered and quickly left.
