Jacqueline Inda Is Needed

As longtime members of the Santa Barbara area and very active in both political and not-for-profit community organizations, we are writing to support the candidacy of Jacqueline Inda to represent District 1 on the Santa Barbara City Council.

We have both worked with Inda for years on a variety of community issues and problems that have needed determination and tough-mindedness. She has proven to be both knowledgeable and dedicated to finding solutions. She has a track record of working with her community on projects that are of highest importance to the families of her district, issues such as the safety of all of our children, school truancy and developing strategies to combat truancy, and the need for true representation in the first district. The city has benefited from her broad experience and involvement in the neighborhood and the small business community.

As a foster child herself and now as a parent and a foster parent, she brings insight and compassion to the table.

As a business owner she is well aware of the challenges and opportunities of small businesses in Santa Barbara.

For all of these reasons, we believe that Jacqueline Inda is needed on the City Council at this time!
