SBCC President’s Office Seeks Applicants

As SBCC hits the halfway point in its eight-month mission to hire a successor to retiring President Lori Gaskin, about a dozen prospects have applied for the position so far. Search firm Community College Search Services — contracted last fall for $40,000 — anticipates more applications before, and perhaps after, the soft close of the application window on March 16. A public forum is set for April 25 at Garvin Theatre, during which the public can question the finalists, who will be selected by the search firm in the coming weeks.
