Adams Elementary School is calling on the community to keep its brain active as the days of summer roll on, encouraging students and parents alike to join its Maker Challenge by posting a self-built project on the school’s Facebook group. From freshly baked chocolate-chip cookies to a gondola built from Legos, “anything goes,” says Sean Federbusch, who heads up the Adams Design Center, a 2,000-square-foot “maker-space” classroom funded by 2010 ballot measures Q and R.
