Industry Veteran Brings 25 Years of Experience to Brokerage’s Leadership Team

Sotheby’s International Realty, Inc. is pleased to announce that Michael Cohen has been appointed Vice President and Brokerage Manager for the company’s Santa Barbara, Montecito and the Santa Ynez Valley brokerages. In this role, Cohen will lead 115 independent sales associates based in these offices.

Cohen joins the company with a depth of experience both in the real estate industry and with the Sotheby’s International Realty brand. Since 2014, he has been Vice President of Sales for Golden Gate Sotheby’s International Realty, one of the largest affiliates in the Sotheby’s International Realty network located in the tech-pioneering Bay Area.

Prior to his work with Golden Gate Sotheby’s International Realty, Cohen spent over a decade as a sales agent who led the top sales team at his previous company. Throughout the course of his career, Cohen implemented sales training programs for seasoned agents and has helped mentor and train new agents.

Prior to his 25-year career in California real estate, Cohen was a sales leader at Autodesk, a 3D software company. He is excited to be relocating permanently to Santa Barbara, where he will be closer to his son who attends the University of California, Santa Barbara.
