Several Santa Barbara city government employees have shuffled positions, as planning czar Paul Casey was appointed interim director of public works while a replacement is found for Tony Nisich, who resigned earlier this year. Casey will be replaced by Dave Gustafson-currently director of redevelopment-while wastewater director Rebecca Bjork is now interim water chief. She replaced Steve Mack, who resigned 10/8. Bjork’s position was filled by city engineer John Schoof.
