Hannah-Beth Jackson officially received the endorsement of the state Democratic Party over the weekend at the Democratic State Convention in San Diego. The endorsement came drama-free, based mostly on the endorsement of Jackson at the local level. At a January meeting, Jackson won 79 percent of the local voting over her opponent, Ventura County firefighter and Oxnard Harbor Commissioner Jason Hodge.
