Get Oil Out, the pioneer environmental activism organization that was a response to the huge oil spill at the Santa Barbara Channel’s Platform A in 1969, took a commemorative cruise out to the platform aboard the Condor Express on 2/10. The original leaders of the charge were there-including Bud Bottoms, Mark McGinnes, Paul Relis, and Estelle Foster-celebrating what they say was the beginning of the modern environmental movement.
