Local Higher Education Nationally Ranked
UCSB is tied with four other schools for the 44th spot in U.S. News & World Report’s annual “America’s Best Colleges” issue. The school is tied for fifth-highest in the UC system in the sometimes controversial rating system. Westmont College ranked 106th among the nation’s liberal arts colleges, its third straight year of being ranked in the top tier of such colleges.
