TG Carrillo Sues ConocoPhillips

TG Carrillo, LLC-responsible for building the Hotel Andalucia at the corner of Carrillo and Chapala streets-is suing energy giant ConocoPhillips to recover the cost of cleaning up two leaking underground gas tanks that TG Carrillo uncovered during construction. The tanks once served a gas station operated by ConocoPhillips. TG Carrillo claims that ConocoPhillips failed in its duty to prevent gasoline contamination, which reportedly reached very high levels.
