The Santa Barbara County Green Award Consortium announced its 2007 Green Award winners. They include Santa Barbara’s Valle Verde Retirement Community, Santa Ynez’s Chumash Casino Resort, Carpinteria’s B&H Flowers, Inc., and Lompoc’s Clos Pepe Vineyards. Now in their 14th year, the Green Awards aim to recognize county businesses and organizations that have made outstanding efforts to be sensitive to the environment. An awards luncheon is scheduled for 9/21.
