The identical twins who first made a radio splash a few years ago with “Walking with a Ghost” have done it again with their fifth release, The Con. Whether these Calgary natives are breaking our hearts with “Nineteen” or getting our heads bobbing with the title track, you can bet their poppy, signature nasal-ish sound makes for a good companion to car rides and coffee dates. Chris Walla of Death Cab for Cutie and Decemberists fame produces the album, while AFI’s Hunter Burgan lends his talents on the bass.
