According to the California Association of Realtors, home sales on Santa Barbara’s South Coast were down 22.7 percent compared to last August, and the median price for a single-family home was up 6.1 percent to $1.26 million. In the North County, prices were 13.8 percent lower, with 26.7 percent fewer sales. Statewide averages saw a 27.8 percent decrease in sales and a two percent increase in median price.
