Zaca Fire Starters Delay Arraignment

The two ranch workers accused of starting the Zaca Fire appeared in a Santa Maria courtroom on 9/20, but their arraignment was delayed until 10/15 to give the defendants more time to obtain counsel. Deputy D.A. Jerry Lulejian announced that he has added a fifth felony count-for causing great bodily injury to firefighter Joshua Lee-to the charges against Jose Cabrera, Santiago Cervantes, and the company owning the property where the fire started, which is owned by movie producer Charles Roven.
