Gibraltar Road will be closed for 40 days to all but local motor vehicle traffic beginning on 10/11, while workers reconstruct a shoulder just north of Mt. Calvary monastery. Warning of long delays, the county Public Works Department also urges bicyclists to avoid using the road between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. while work is in progress.
