SB Carpooling Proves Effective
The 574 people who logged their carpooling trips during Santa Barbara County’s Rideshare Week reduced car miles traveled by 54,000, saved 2,575 gallons of fuel, and prevented the release of 24.5 tons of carbon dioxide, according to the county’s rideshare office.
