Truck Catches on Fire Downtown

A construction worker stopped his pickup truck on Figueroa Street between State and Anacapa at noon on 10/18 after his dashboard caught fire. A worker in a nearby building came out with a fire extinguisher to quench the fire until the Santa Barbara City Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown. There were no injuries, and the truck was towed.
