‘Tis the Season for Giving
It was recently announced that famed contemporary Realist painter Dorothy Churchill-Johnson has donated six of her works to the County of Santa Barbara. Churchill-Johnson, who has worked in town for over 30 years, has shown her works in France, Russia, and the Philippines. The Gift of the Dorothy Churchill-Johnson Collection will be celebrated in a public reception on Thursday, January 3. The paintings will be displayed in the Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Office, located in the County Administration Building (105 E. Anapamu St.).
