Vehicle Rolls Over on Highway 101

On 1/7, Santa Barbara County Fire reported a vehicle rollover on the southbound side of Highway 101 near El Capitan State Park. According to fire officials, a 1999 Ford Explorer swerved off the road and rolled over, landing on its roof near the railroad tracks. Officials closed the tracks until the vehicle was removed. According to County Fire, two of the vehicle’s occupants were critically injured, while the others sustained moderate injuries. All passengers were transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
