Santa Barbara resident Graham Bayliss was rescued around 8 p.m. on 1/12 after being stranded in deep snow while trying to fetch his snowboard outside the boundaries of the Heavenly Ski Resort in Lake Tahoe. According to reports, Bayliss phoned for help and was lifted to safety by a CALSTAR helicopter.
