Santa Barbara Daily Sound copublisher Charles Swegles has left the daily on friendly terms. His last day was 12/21. General manager John Leonard will take over the business duties performed by Swegels, who will pursue opportunities with other start-ups. “He worked very hard for us during these first couple years : I’m sad he’s left,” said editor and publisher Jeramy Gordon.
