Los Alamos’s C Gallery currently is accepting submissions for its fall exhibit, titled Miniatures, to be unveiled late this October. All creations must be no larger than 6″x6″x6″, and are due no later than Sunday, October 18. Visit thecgallery.com for entry forms.
LET’S DANCE
This Sunday, September 13, The Dance Store (1 N. Calle Cesar Ch¡vez) celebrates its grand opening from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. In addition to drawings and clothing line debuts, the party will feature two masterclasses from So You Think You Can Dance choreographers Tabitha and Napoleon D’Umo. ONE NIGHT IN THE TROPICS
This Sunday, September 13, Trinity Episcopal Church (1500 State St.) plays host to an evening of Haitian music, food, and fundraising titled Haitian Night. Put on by the S.B.-based nonprofit Fonkoze Santa Barbara, the event also features a virtual tour of the group’s recent trip to Haiti. Proceeds benefit the country’s impoverished women.
