KEYT’s Martha Bull Sues County

Longtime KEYT television personality Martha Bull, along with other La Vista neighbors, filed a lawsuit against Santa Barbara County on 2/18, asking the county to overturn restrictions that require residents to use Barger Canyon Road for access to their properties.

Neighbors below in the Alta Mira neighborhood recently asked the county to enforce a parcel map designation, alleging that for years their upper neighbors have created traffic issues by using a private driveway on Debra Drive and part of what is now the San Marcos Foothills Preserve County Park to cross over to La Vista Road.

According to county attorney Michael Ghizzoni, the county was given an extra 90 days to respond to the complaint and address the issue.
