Dos Pueblos Students Design Green Car Dashboard

A team of students from Dos Pueblos High School this week was named a semi-finalist in a country-wide competition that asks high schoolers to design an eco-friendly automotive dashboard of the future. Members of Team EDV, which stands for El Diseño Verde (or Green Design), reportedly designed a dashboard that helps a driver maximize fuel efficiency and encourages behavioral change by incorporating technology that continuously calculates maximum fuel economy based on previous performance of other vehicles on similar road conditions.
