Flash Fire Severely Burns Worker
Suffers Extensive Injuries; Flown to L.A. Burn Center

A man was badly burned this morning when a flash fire sparked at 4595 Camino Del Marisol.
County Fire spokesperson David Sadecki reported that the worker — who was removing flooring in a small utility room next to the property’s garage — suffered second and third degree burns to 80-90 percent of his body. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
The victim was first treated by paramedics on-scene before he was transported to Cottage Hospital, but he was eventually flown to Grossman Burn Center in Los Angeles for further treatment.
