Santa Barbara based Plum Goods, the newest storefront for eco-chic, sustainable gifts held their Grand Opening October 28, on the sought after 900 block of State Street in Santa Barbara.

Despite intense competition for similar spaces on State Strett, Plum Goods secured a high traffic location in time to open for the holidays.

“Working with Plum Goods was a joy,” said Liam Murphy, VP of Advisory Services for The Stone Group, and who represented Plum Goods in the lease, “We support the vision of [Plum Goods owner and founder] Amy Cooper and were glad to use our time to coordinate the site identification and lease negotiations so she could focus on her core business.

“909 State St is a beautiful building and is perfectly located for Plum Goods.” Murphy added “There were many long discussions regarding the lease, but Amy can now rest assured that she got a great deal on one of the finest retail blocks in Southern California.”

Attendees at the grand opening included local designers, friends, and several prominent artists including William Woolway whose artwork is displayed on the walls of Plum Goods. A reception November 4 introduced Mr. Woolway’s work as a part of Santa Barbara’s First Thursday Art Walk.
