Santa Barbara Airport officials announced Thursday that Alaska Airlines will host seasonal nonstop flights to Portland, Oregon, beginning June 4 and continuing until August 25, 2012.

The 70-passenger jet will depart daily from Santa Barbara at 11:50 a.m., arriving in Portland at 1:55 p.m. “These new routes give our customers additional options to access some of the most popular summer markets out of Portland,” said Joe Sprague, Alaska Airlines’s vice president of marketing, in a prepared statement.

Like all Alaska Airlines flights, complimentary Starbucks coffee and soft drinks will be available, as well as wine and microbrews. Flights start at $99 for a one-way ticket.
