Bridge Retrofit to Close San Marcos Road
Traffic Rerouted to Cathedral Oaks Road and San Marcos Pass
From January 24 to January 27, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., the Santa Barbara County Public Works Department will close San Marcos Road a half-mile north of Cathedral Oaks Road as crews perform earthquake retrofits on the bridge over Maria Ygnacia Creek.
Traffic will be diverted to Cathedral Oaks Road and San Marcos Pass (Highway 154). Drivers are encouraged to take note of traffic controls and detour signs during this time.
