Denunzio Sentenced to Jail in Battery Case

Tony Denunzio must serve 30 days in jail, enroll in anger management therapy, abstain from alcohol, and pay a fine after being found guilty by a jury of battery on his girlfriend’s son. Denunzio became well-known in the community after he was pulled over for alleged DUI by Santa Barbara Police Officer Aaron Tudor. Several witnesses say Denunzio was brutally struck and tased by Tudor and that the officer used excessive force. Others claimed Denunzio was resisting. Because of the publicity, Denunzio’s DUI case was moved to North County.
