Hwy 101 Improvements

Project Update for Road Work Between Milpas St. and Hot Springs Rd.

The southbound Hwy 101 off-ramp at Milpas St. South will be closed between 6am and 3pm daily from Wednesday, Feb. 1st through Friday, Feb. 3rd. During this time, crews will excavate portions of the ramp surface for upcoming improvements. Crews will also clear and grub for landscaping improvements as well as hydromulch. During the daytime closures, motorists can use the southbound Hwy 101 off-ramp at Milpas St. North. Motorists should also be aware that Union Pacific will be working on the railroad tracks on Milpas St. during this time and will have Milpas St. closed at the railroad tracks.

Southbound Hwy 101 freeway closure on Feb. 6th from 11pm to 5am to allow crews to install joint sealer between the new bridges and the concrete approach slabs. Motorists will be detoured off the freeway at the southbound Hwy 101 off-ramp at Milpas St. South and reenter the freeway at the southbound Hwy 101 on-ramp at Milpas St.
