Island Brewing Company Wins Big
Carpinteria’s Island Brewing Company fared quite well at two big-time beer-offs this month. At the L.A. County International Beer Competition the seaside brewery’s bourbon barrel-aged IPA swept gold. Top prizes also went to the Jubilee and Nut Brown Ale while Starry Night Stout claimed Silver. At the California State Fair, Starry Night Stout took the First Place Gold Medal and the Jubilee earned the Third Place Silver Medal.
