Bijou’s book was named 2012 Gold Winner in two separate categories, Psychology and Self-Help, from the prestigious ForeWord Book of the Year Awards. In early June, the Independent Book Publishers Association gave Bijou the coveted Benjamin Franklin Award for Best Self-Help Book of 2012.

“I was thrilled to learn that I had won these national awards,” says Bijou. “My book teaches simple but effective strategies that help clear away emotional obstacles standing between us and the joy, love, and sense of peace we all desire.” She adds that she hopes the recognition the book is receiving from leading publishers and reviewers will help spread her messages of healing and happiness.

Attitude Reconstruction is a guide to building a better life, right now. Combining the best of Western innovation and Eastern introspection, Bijou’s book is packed with easy-to-follow techniques, quick charts to change destructive patterns instantly, and real-life examples readers can relate to.

Bijou’s theory of Attitude Reconstruction evolved from years of working with clients to help them lead happier, more fulfilled lives. “One of the aspects critics and readers especially like about the book,” says Bijou, “is that my simple body-based techniques can release negative emotions and blocked energy in five minutes or less. The changes people experience in their outlook can be instantaneous.”
