Joseph Chang Featured on “Moving America Forward”
This feature follows the recent presentation of the prestigious Moving America Forward Award, presented to the company and its leader, Joseph H Chang MD, for their significant contribution in helping thousands of people improve their lifestyle and wellness, while also restoring the American economy.
Joseph H Chang MD is the driving force behind the Montecito Aesthetic Institute (MAI) as well as Empire Eye and Laser Center (EELC) in Bakersfield and Mammoth. In order to give back, which is part of his mission, Dr. Chang also founded the non-profit Advanced Center for Eyecare (ACE) to provide high quality care for the underserved population. He also serves on numerous other non profit boards, such as The Arts Council for Kern and the Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
Dr. Chang is a board certified Oculoplastic surgeon who has had a successful practice for twelve years. He completed his residency training at the esteemed Jules Stein Eye Institute of UCLA, where he continues to serve as a Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology.
He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, California Medical Association, Outpatient Ophthalmic Surgery Society, American Medical Association, California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, and the Santa Barbara Eye Society.
