The stunning new issue showcases wineries, inns, and resorts in the country’s major wine regions—including the states of Washington, Oregon, California, and Virginia.

Touring & Tasting magazine features sections on each wine region with editorial content designed to inform its readers about the area, its wines, places to stay, and things to do while visiting the region. Articles in the new issue include: insider tips for readers planning a visit to the Napa Valley, Sonoma; a sampling of suggested wedding and party venues located in Sonoma County; a resident of Washington’s notes on standout tasting rooms in her home state; and the lowdown on Virginia wine country in October, Virginia wine month. A special section featuring Paso Robles, California includes the accounting of Editor in Chief Wendy van Diver’s five-day Editor’s Tour of the area and an informative piece about Paso Robles as a vacation destination.

The newsstand cover for the Summer/Fall 2012 issue features a stunning photograph of California’s Lake County shot by Contributing Photographer Rudy Meyers. “We’re particularly excited about this photo because we believe we really convey the essence of spectacular Lake County. As with all of our other featured regions, we plan to play an integral role in Lake County’s rising reputation as a great wine country destination,” Fox says.
