Chumash Casino Resort Hotel Renovation
The renovation will begin on September 4 and is expected to last through mid-December. The hotel and spa will be closed during that time and are scheduled to reopen December 20.
“Guests who experience the newly transformed hotel will still find the same impeccable service and outstanding comfort, but with the added benefit of beautiful surroundings and the newest state-of-the-art amenities,” said John Martino, executive director of hospitality for the Chumash Casino Resort Hotel.
The redesign will include new fixtures, furnishings, carpet, drapes, and high-tech upgrades, including a 40-inch high definition TV and a plug-in panel that can be used with a host of digital devices.
Leading the ambitious renovation is the award-winning design firm of SFA Design. The firm’s work can be seen in world class destinations around the globe, including Europe, Asia and South America, serving clients such as the Four Seasons Hotels, Waldorf-Astoria Collection, and various other high-end hotels and private residences.
The central focus of the redesign is to incorporate both literal and abstract elements of the Chumash tribe’s rich history.
“By transforming the interiors, we will offer guests a more contemporary setting while holding onto truly authentic elements,” said Stacy Szuhy, an associate at SFA Design and the project’s lead designer. “Everything about the space from the rich textures and colors to the unique symbols will truly give guests a sense of place.”
Located in Santa Barbara County’s wine country off Hwy. 246, the Chumash Casino Resort Hotel offers visitors the ultimate escape.
