SBCC Vaqueros Show Support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Attendees of Friday, Oct. 19 Game Encouraged To Wear Pink
Friday’s game will recognize National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by encouraging attendees and all those present to wear pink. Wearing pink will help recognize the daily struggles of those living with breast cancer and their families.
During each home game, Santa Barbara City College will honor an individual or group from the Santa Barbara Area as the ‘Honorary Vaquero Captain (HVC)’ for their demonstration of strength, courage, and spirit. The Alpha Resource Center will be recognized at Friday’s game. The honorary captain will represent SBCC in the pre-game coin toss and be introduced to the crowd at halftime.
Vaquero football offers fans a night full of excitement. New features to this season’s games include a live DJ and full BBQ restaurant.
