Santa Barbara hits television screens in more than 200 countries when the NBC Sports Network provides live coverage of Stage 4 of the Amgen Tour of California. The network (Channels 67 and 1067-HD on Cox Cable) will televise the concluding miles and taped highlights of every stage until the final day, when parent network NBC takes over.

The production team and equipment for the HD broadcasts will be provided by the Amaury Sports Organization (ASO), the owner of the Tour de France and the media partner of the Amgen Tour.

Here is the schedule:

Sunday, May 12, 2 p.m. — Stage 1: Escondido, Mount Palomar (102.7 miles).

Monday, May 13, 2 p.m. — Stage 2: Murrieta to Greater Palm Springs (124.1 miles).

Tuesday, May 14, 2 p.m. — Stage 3: Palmdale to Santa Clarita (110.3 miles).

Wednesday, May 15, 2 p.m. — Stage 4: Santa Clarita to Santa Barbara (83.6 miles).

Thursday, May 16, 2 p.m. — Stage 5: Santa Barbara to Avila Beach (115.4 miles).

Friday, May 17, 2 p.m. — Stage 6: San Jose Time Trial (19.6 miles), men’s and women’s divisions.

Saturday, May 18, 4 p.m. — Stage 7: Livermore to Mt. Diablo summit (91.4 miles).

Sunday, May 19, 10 a.m. (NBC) — Stage 8: San Francisco to Santa Rosa (81.6 miles).

In addition to the broadcasts, there will be live coverage across the web via the Tour Tracker at amgentourofcalifornia.com.
