Sports Highlights: July 18-24
The Santa Barbara Foresters put 13 players in the California Collegiate League All-Star Game (7 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, on Fox Sports West), and they won’t have much rest following that game in Compton. The Foresters host the San Luis Obispo Blues on Thursday at UCSB. Both teams are tied atop the CCL North with 17-11 records. There are eight games remaining in the regular season, and the Foresters will be on the road for five of them, including three at San Luis Obispo on July 23-25.
