Four Fires at Vandenberg

Vandenberg fire department crews successfully extinguished four brush fires that burned a total of 7.5 acres there on Friday. One strike team consisting of five engines responded to the fires. The fires were extinguished within 90 minutes, and no structures were threatened. Santa Barbara County provided one aircraft in support of the incident. The cause of the fires remains under investigation.
