Bellosguardo Ideas

I would hope that Bellosguardo is not turned into a walk-through museum with a gift shop or an events venue but rather becomes a vibrant representation of an East Coast 1930s estate. Since it would be a “representation,” there would be no need for authentic antique items — quality reproductions made by local artisans would convey the ambiance. For historical interest and vitality, afternoon teas could be served accompanied by background strings/harp/piano played by students and local musicians. A room could be devoted to period fashions (Hollywood could supply hundreds). Work/study programs could be utilized for occasional student arts shows, fashion shows, culinary works. So much more could be done within the walls of this unique gem to preserve, educate, involve the community — to respect the past and cultivate the future.

One could not wish for a more intelligent, talented overseer than Dick Wolf. Where does he get the time and energy?
