Dennis Miller Sells Montecito Home

Comedian and political commentator Dennis Miller recently sold one of his Montecito homes for $11.5 million, Variety reported today. The 3.76-acre estate, designed by Gilded Age architect Stanford White and built in 1895, has eight bedrooms and nine full bathrooms. Its guesthouse has another three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Miller purchased the property in 1993 for an unknown amount and first put it up for sale in 2010 with a $17.5 million asking price. The estate includes a tennis court, trampoline, and tree house, along with a swimming pool, spa, outside fireplace, and cabana with a kitchen and bar.

According to Variety, Miller owns a number of Montecito properties, including one right across the street from the one that just sold and another 4.6-acre compound he bought in 2006. He also owns a home in Carpinteria that he purchased for $11.7 million in 2003. It recently went on the market for $22.5 million.
