A silly tourist saw me swimming at the sandspit and asked if I wasn’t afraid of sharks. Hmmm. U.S. shark deaths this year = 0. U.S. auto-related deaths this year = 29,000. U.S. gun-related deaths this year = 27,000. U.S. deaths by cop = 900. I’m sooo worried about Jaws.
