Santa Barbara County firefighters responded Monday to a report of a vegetation fire at Dos Pueblos Canyon at 1:37 p.m. According to County Fire Captain Dave Zaniboni, the fire burned approximately 2 acres of cut grass before first responders arrived. Although the fire was mostly out by the time they arrived, it was “still smoldering,” Zaniboni said. The fire was caused by a tractor-pulling lawn mower, which was cutting the grass. No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported.
