The Santa Barbara Association of REALTORS® Young Professionals Network is kicking off 2019 by teaming up with local favorite, the Santa Barbara Zoo, to help save gorillas around the world. The mining of coltan, a mineral used in many electronic devices, is destroying gorilla habitats in Africa. In order to help minimize mining and help the endangered gorilla population, the Santa Barbara Zoo is hosting the Gorillas on the Line campaign to recycle old cell phones.

If you have an old cell phone that you are no longer using, please consider recycling it for the cause. There is a drop-off box located at the SBAOR building at 1415 Chapala Street, or any participating real estate brokerage. The campaign runs through the end of April.
YPN Committee Members are Brianna Johnson, Brittany Lough, Jordan Robinson, Jessie Sessions, David Magid, Justin Dees, Stephen MacFarlane, Candace Cavaletto, Frank Paolino, Erin Timmerman, Kristin Hall, and Jeff Chavolla.

The Young Professional Network is a volunteer group of SBAOR members focused on becoming exceptional members of the community by demonstrating a high level of REALTOR® professionalism and volunteering for causes they feel passionate about.
